Various area businesses offer discounts to County employees and retirees.  For more information go to the County of Sacramento Employee Discount Program. 

Businesses interested in participating in our Employee Discount Program, please review the Employee Discount Program Standards , then complete the Employee Discount Program Enrollment Form and mail or fax enrollment form back to the Employee Benefits Office at 700 H Street, Suite 6750, Sacramento, California 95814 or 916-874-4621.

 Liberty Mutual
 

County Employees and their dependents are eligible to enroll year-round in a voluntary personal lines of insurance program offered through Liberty Mutual.  Employees may choose among several lines including auto, homeowners, and renters insurance.  Benefits include group discounts, guaranteed rates for 12 months, convenient payment plans including electronic fund transfer (EFT) from your personal bank account, and no down payment if EFT is established.  To find out more about this benefit, or to enroll, employees may call 866-467-4841.
 

 Long Term Care Insurance

All County full-time and part-time employees and retirees are eligible to apply for long-term care coverage from the State of California’s CalPERS Long-Term Care program.  An employee’s spouse, parents, parents-in-law, and siblings are also eligible to apply for this program. 

An enrollment period is normally held between April 1st and June 30th each year.  For more information, please visit the CalPERS (California Public Employees’ Retirement System) website.
